Good for your nipples, your baby and the environment.

At Milkdrop, we have consciously focused on quality for every element of our cushion. To us, quality includes environmental performance. Here's how we're reducing our environmental impact.

If you have suggestions on how we could improve our footprint, please contact us at support@milkdroppumps.com.

Circular silicone scheme

We use medical-grade silicone because it doesn't leach chemicals into your skin, your milk or the environment.

Silicone will last as long as you need it, but is also recyclable. Australian councils don't have the facilities to do this yet, but through our circular silicone scheme, you can send us back your cushion (we'll pay for postage of course), and we will recycle it properly.

When you're ready to finally put the pump back in the closet (hurrah), just send us a note at support@milkdroppumps.com, and we'll send you out a compostable mailer bag to pop your cushion in.

It's not just silicone

There's more to milkdrop than silicone you say? True.

We use recycled and recyclable cardboard for packaging and instructions. We use compostable mailer bags. In our next production run, we are using soy inks in printing, and removing the box entirely in our next batch of production, in favour of recycled paper.

We designed our food-grade stainless steel and silicone lid carry case to last, so you can re-use it for whatever you fancy.

And we manufacture our cushions locally to reduce transport miles.

Are we passing muster
