Relax while you pump.

No stress.

Designed to feel more like your baby's suck

The milkdrop cushion attaches to your pump head.

It's made from a super-soft material, and protects your nipple and areola from being chaffed against the hard plastic or silicone flange.

It's designed to mimic the physiology of how a baby's mouth, tongue and soft palate works to extract milk from the breast.

Super-soft, medical grade and reusable

Ten times softer than your existing pump, cushioning your nipples and areola.

Designed by a mum who has been through the whole pumping experience.

Safe for you and your baby, even if your nipples are cracked or damaged. BPA Free.

The soft material deforms as the pump sucks, and the ridges massage your areola.

Just wash and re-use as you do with your pump. Tested to last six months.

The head attaches to your electric pump. Check here for your make and model.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I get a milkdrop pump head?

Nowhere just yet. We’re starting production now. We'll have the first batch ready in November. Order now to join the waitlist.

Will it work on my pump?

So far, the cushion fits on the following pumps. - Spectra S1 - Spectra S2 - Medela Symphony - Philips Avent. Take out the existing silicone 'insert' first. - Medela Freestyle* - Medela Swing* *Medela recently changed their flange to a FLEX. Milkdrop does fit on these, but it fits better on the old ones. Can't see your pump on our list? Drop us a line to check if it will fit. We'd love to hear from you.

Is it safe for me and my baby?

This is our highest priority. We are using a USP Class VI material, which means it has been through medical-grade biocompatiblity testing for use on your skin, even if you have cracked nipples or have abrasions (you poor thing). We'll also register with the Theraputic Goods Association requirements before we make it available. BPA free.

How should I clean it?

We’ve designed it to be reusable, so it’s better for the environment. Clean the cushion as you would your pump parts. Here's some instructions, based on FDA breast pump cleaning guidance. 1) Rinse the insert in cool water as soon as you can after pumping. 2) Wash with warm water and dishwashing liquid. You can use the brush you have for your pump / bottles. 3) Rinse with hot water for 10-15 seconds 4) Place on a drying rack or paper towel to air dry. Avoid using cloth towels to dry because these can carry germs that could contaminate the milk.

Can I return it?

Of course! Try risk-free for 30 days, and return hassle-free, whatever the reason. Just drop us a line at hello@milkdroppumps.com and we'll arrange a return.
